Microsoft has revealed more details about its upcoming gaming console the Xbox One Project Scorpio, formally know as Project Scorpio.This console was unveiled at E3 2016, Project Scorpio is the next Xbox and its the most powerful console ever made.Moreover, Microsoft has confirmed that console will be available in holidays 2017.
Xbox One Project Scorpio Will Be Most Powerful Console Ever:
Microsoft claims that Project Scorpio will be most powerful console ever made.Microsoft is aiming for 4K UHD resolution gaming with Project Scorpio.Project Scorpio will rock six teraflops of computational power and 320GB/s of memory bandwidth.The current Xbox One has the power of only 1.3 teraflops and maximum memory bandwidth of only 200GB/s, making Xbox One Project Scorpio 4.5 times more powerful than the Xbox One.This console will run all games on native 4K.Besides 4K gaming, this console will also run games in virtual reality.
Specifications Of Xbox One Project Scorpio:
This console will be powered by eight custom CPU cores running at 2.3 GHz, 40 GPU units running at 1172 MHz and 12GB of RAM, these specifications put it well ahead of the Original Xbox One and PS4 Pro.These specifications will allow it to run almost all games on the 4K resolution.
This will allow it to run at the computational power of six teraflops and almost 320GB/s of memory bandwidth.

Project Scorpio Will Be Backward And Forward Compatible With Xbox One:
This feature includes all accessories, games and Xbox 360 backwards compatibility.Besides VR games, Microsoft confirmed at E3 2016 that Project Scorpio will have no exclusive games.Instead, games will run dynamically between Xbox One and Project Scorpio, unpacking more complex features when the game is installed on Project Scorpio.
Project Scorpio And Virtual Reality:
Besides 4K gaming, the other great feature of Project Scorpio will be virtual reality(VR) supported.Xbox One Project Scorpio won’t come with Virtual Reality headset.Instead, Xbox One Project Scorpio will support third-party virtual reality headsets.
Microsoft is expected to announce Oculus Rift support to Xbox One Project Scorpio, as it already has a partnership with Oculus to distribute an Xbox One controller.
Project Scorpio Will Run Games At Native 4K:
Project Scorpio games, if properly optimised, should be able to drive a game at native 4K.The one title which Microsoft tested, Forza motorsport, was running on 60FPS at 4K resolution at only 66% GPU usage.
This suggests that 1080p Xbox One games should be able to run at 4K on Xbox One Project Scorpio without too much trouble.
However, if you are stick with a full HD TV then you should benefit from Scorpio’s ability to super-sample games from 4K down to 1080p, which should result in a boost to detail.
Project Scorpio Price And Release Date:
Microsoft has confirmed that project Scorpio will be available in the holiday season of 2017.Previous Xbox console launches have taken place in November so we can assume that it will also launch in November.
